Susan Clark, Girl Scout Alum, Executive Assistant, Real Estate Administration
"Beyond the activities, what really made Girl Scouts special were the friendships. Some of those bonds have lasted over 40 years! It’s amazing how connections made in those early years can remain so strong. I’m thrilled to continue supporting young girls and women through this partnership, and I’m so proud to be part of it.”
Natalie Sims, Girl Scout Alum, Crew Trainer, at Wendy's Harrison in Harrison, AR
“The games, the scavenger hunts, the badge seeking challenges, and the memories will forever be cherished in my heart.”
Shandi Hernandez, Girl Scout Alum
“One of my favorite memories was when we sold enough boxes of cookies that we earned a sleep over at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. We got to sleep close to the rhinos and it was such a great experience. I have made many lifelong friendships from Troop 6427.”
Tracy Wenzlik Grason, Girl Scout Alum, Program Manager, IT Security Strategies
“The best memory I have was spending three and a half weeks backpacking through Europe with my best friends visiting the Girl Scout Swiss Chalet and meeting other Girl Scouts from around the world!. The opportunities that Girl Scouting provides to the girls is pretty remarkable and the friendships, experiences and memories cannot be replaced, all thanks to our fundraising through selling Girl Scout Cookies.”
Christina Meehan, Girl Scout Alum, Project Manager, Restaurant Services
“Growing up as a Girl Scout was an unforgettable experience that shaped me in so many ways. The friendships I built, the challenges I overcame, and the fun we had as a troop are all experiences I cherish to this day. Being a Girl Scout taught me teamwork, leadership, and goal setting, lessons that continue to guide me in my personal and professional life.”
Michelle Shaffer, Girl Scout Alum, CHRO, Impact Ventures, Corp./dba Wendy’s
“I couldn't wait [for Girl Scout Cookie Season] because I knew, not only would I get to try and sell the most (never did, but enjoyed the challenge), I knew we'd be buying some of our own to put in the freezer for the best tasting cookies in the world! My favorite, and still to this day, is the Thin Mints.”
Heidi Schauer, Girl Scout Alum, VP of Communications, Public Affairs & Customer Care
“I have very fond memories of being a Brownie, then a Girl Scout. [Being a Girl Scout] taught me confidence having to go door-to-door as a child to sell cookies (the old fashioned way!), it taught me pride to serve others and my community and to work hard and get rewarded for that hard work with all those cool badges! ”
Emily Kessler, Girl Scout Alum, Manager, Culinary & Innovation
“I have fond memories of being a Girl Scout. My first overnight camp was while I was a Girl Scout, learning how to build a fire and cook over an open fire, archery, and many other life lessons along the way. I also took an etiquette class and learned how to build relationships with my peers.”
Fans can treat themselves to the new Thin Mints Frosty in Wendy's restaurants nationwide or through Wendy's mobile app now for a limited time.
