Chris Conway has served as Senior Vice President, APMEA & Europe for The Wendy’s Company since April 2024.
He is accountable for ensuring the Wendy’s brand reaches its full potential across these important growth markets. This includes leading, developing, and executing strategies that drive sales and increase profitability, while elevating the customer experience and brand performance to the highest levels.
Chris is a highly accomplished senior executive with more than 25 years of international operations and business development experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
He joined Wendy’s from Yum! Brands, where he spent 13 years in various senior-level roles including Chief Growth Officer APAC, International Chief Operations Officer and Regional General Manager for Pizza Hut Global Franchise Markets.
He began his career with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. He held various management roles in foodservice in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand during his 17 years with the brand.
Having spent more than half his life living in Asia, Chris says eating a Dave’s Single® with Waffle Fries on his way to work in Hong Kong is a standout and delicious Wendy’s memory. These days, he favors a Dave’s Combo with a Frosty®.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts, Hospitality Administration and Management from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.
