Not only do Wendy’s employees talk the talk, but they also walk the walk.
Our Squarely Sustainable Council members are passionate about bringing their personal sustainability aspirations to Wendy’s headquarters.
Throughout the year, the campus organic garden boasts a variety of herbs, garlic, peppers and tomatoes.
We use the garden for educational events and culinary experiences, including in our campus café menu.
In the winter months, our garden will grow garlic to eventually be used for café meals and educational opportunities amongst Squarely Sustainable Council members and employees at the Dublin Restaurant Support Center.
Take, for example, our first-ever pollinator garden. The garden was originally imagined at the end of 2019, however, due to COVID, plans were delayed until 2021. The primary objective was to create a space for local flora and fauna to thrive, while also providing employees the chance to get their hands dirty and learn more about pollinators and their ecosystems.
Well, mission accomplished because employees can volunteer to plant and keep the garden in tip-top shape. Wendy’s is proud to have established a space for nature, education, and engagement.
As a visitor of Wendy’s Dublin HQ, you can enjoy the garden view by taking a walk north around the central pond.
