From lunchtime to late-night and every meal in between, our fans’ top entrée orders didn’t disappoint, featuring fan-favorite chicken, fresh never frozen beef* and Wendy’s signature Applewood smoked bacon. Wendy’s top three most ordered items included Chicken Nuggets (Spicy or Classic), the classic Dave’s Double® and of course, Wendy’s signature Baconator®.

From biscuits to English muffins to flaky croissants, Wendy’s breakfast sandwich lineup has it all. The top breakfast sandwiches from fans in 2023 were the Breakfast Baconator®, Honey Butter Chicken Croissant and Maple Bacon Chicken Biscuit, a true variety of flavors to satisfy all of your morning cravings.
Looking across the entire breakfast menu, our crispy, golden Seasoned Potatoes, Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissant, Breakfast Baconator and Homestyle French Toast Sticks are the most ordered across all of the United States. As for fans in the South, they know a thing or two about a good biscuit and opted for our savory Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit time and time again in 2023!

Wendy’s knows fans love seasonal menu items, ones that transport them to a world of seasonally-inspired flavor profiles. Craving a cozy treat that tastes like Fall, or want a spoonful of holiday cheer? That’s why, this year we delivered festive Frosty® flavors like Pumpkin Spice Frosty and Peppermint Frosty treats, but we didn’t forget our fans who sought out refreshing bites during the Spring and Summer.
We brought our fans craveable options with seasonal items like the Summer Strawberry Salad and Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger, which arrived just in time for football season.
No matter the season, Wendy’s has you covered with delicious, limited time menu items throughout the year! With so many mouth-watering options, the competition was tight in 2023, but the Strawberry Frosty reigned supreme as Wendy’s most ordered limited time offer, demonstrating our fans’ big love for seasonal Frosty flavors. Now, what year-round menu item scored first place among our stacked menu this year? The one, the only: Wendy’s natural-cut Hot & Crispy Fries. This beloved side serves as the perfect pairing to any Wendy’s meal, a satisfying snack when you need a pick-me-up or can even be used as a Frosty utensil. From in-app deals and free Fry-days in 2023, Wendy’s fans couldn’t get enough of our signature Hot & Crispy Fries this year (and we don’t blame them!)

- Coffee: For breakfast, fans stuck to a Regular Hot Coffee to start their mornings. But for those afternoon pick-me-ups? Coffee fans turned to a Frosty Cream Cold Brew first, our smooth, cold-brewed coffee with legendary Frosty creamer is swirled with a choice of year-round vanilla, chocolate and caramel syrups. Our Frosty Cream Cold Brew also got a seasonal twist with limited-time pumpkin spice and peppermint flavors this year!
- Lemonade: Wendy’s stacked lineup of Dave’s Craft Lemonades makes it hard to choose a favorite, but this year, the Strawberry Lemonade took the top spot, according to our fans.
- Frosty Flavor: We’re all about creating new and exciting Frosty flavors inspired by our fans, but the Classic Chocolate Frosty was the most ordered in 2023. As one of the five original Wendy’s menu items that Dave Thomas created back in 1969, you can’t go wrong with a classic Chocolate Frosty!
