Wendy’s Women Leaders in the Restaurant Industry
In honor Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting strong female leaders at Wendy’s.
March is Women’s History Month, and we’re thrilled that two women leaders at Wendy’s were recently recognized for their accomplishments in the restaurant industry.
Abigail Pringle, Wendy’s President, International and Chief Development Officer, was featured in a Yahoo! Finance article that called her “one of the best kept secrets in the fast-food industry.” The piece examines how Abigail was able to rise through the ranks of the Wendy’s organization by creating a support network around her, gaining exposure to various parts of the business, seizing opportunities to work on stretch projects, and being confident to speak up.
During her time at Wendy’s, Abigail has been responsible for many important initiatives including updating the design of all Wendy’s restaurants and founding our internal employee resource group, Women of Wendy’s. Abigail’s current responsibilities include non-traditional development and international business growth.
Another member of Wendy’s Senior Leadership Team, Laura Titas, Chief Digital Experience Officer, was highlighted in the 2020 Restaurant Business’s Power 20 list, which celebrates restaurant leaders whose careers are on the rise. Since joining the Wendy’s family from Accenture in 2018, Laura has led projects including relaunching the Wendy’s mobile app, introducing system-wide mobile ordering, expanding third-party delivery, and installing in-restaurant scanner technology across the U.S.
At Wendy’s, we know our people are our most critical resource. Our focus on diversity and inclusion in the workplace remains a priority within The Wendy’s Company as we continue to execute our multi-year Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
