Dr. Beverly Stallings-Johnson
Vice President, Chief Culture, Equity & Inclusion Officer
Dr. Beverly Stallings-Johnson has served as Wendy’s Vice President, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer since March 2021. She sets the vision and strategy for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Wendy’s, and leads efforts to create an inclusive culture for the Company’s employees, franchisees and suppliers.
Beverly is a transformational leader who understands how a diverse and inclusive culture can positively impact business results. She is also a passionate advocate for ensuring that people can feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work.
Prior to Wendy’s, Beverly was Chief Diversity Officer for the City of Columbus, Ohio, leading the city’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. In partnership with Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, she helped to advance an equity agenda to impact disparities across the city’s nearly 1 million residents.
Beverly also previously spent more than 25 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Xerox, culminating in her role as Global Equal Employment Officer and Senior Executive, Diversity Inclusion and Equity.
Although Beverly’s fondest memory of Wendy’s as a child was the first time she realized the burgers were square, you can catch her these days ordering a Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich when in season and a salad from her local Wendy’s restaurant.
Beverly holds a PhD in Management and Organizational Effectiveness from California Coast University, a Masters in Management from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications from the University of Richmond.
Beverly is a member of the Ohio Diversity Council.
